Anchor

Privacy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Local by default

Anchor stores sessions, parked thoughts, and app lists on your Mac under Application Support. Free features do not require an account.

Input Monitoring

If granted, Anchor counts keystroke and mouse-move rates to estimate whether you’re actively working. We do not record key contents, passwords, or clipboard data.

No account required

Anchor is free for now. We do not require signup, and we do not sell your focus data. Future optional cloud features will be described here before they ship.

Website analytics

The marketing site may use self-hosted Umami for privacy-friendly traffic stats (page views and referrers). It is cookieless and does not sell data. The Mac app itself does not send analytics.
